Conservatives like myself fought for years to force tax increase elections to be done on regular election days. Now there's a bill that takes away the people's right to vote on local tax hikes. SB135 has been amended 3 times and will be heard in AR Senate Education Monday 10am. This bill will allow local governments, most of whom are leftist, woke, & corrupt, to raise taxes without the need of an election.
